TENTATIVO DI PRECISIONE

Nella dialettica conoscitiva l'oggetto, " materia", grafite, colore, emozione, azione, precisione, determinazione, sono amalgamati.

La non rinuncia, la necessita' di soggettivare un impatto grigio, porta ad azioni non guidate da bisogni.

L'alchimia si sviluppa con precisione non umana, meticolosa ossessione, scevra da qualunque necessita' estetica.

La follia di definire, timbrare, modificare, scarnificare la grafite e' un impulso chiaro, universale, un colore, non certo un sentimento.

Strumenti di precisione, il suo varco verso la conoscenza,l'unica chiave possibile.

Si può assimilare a un viaggio, a una ricerca archeologica tra gli strati.

E' una violenza non sofferta, quasi una dinamica meccanica, eppure sembra un uomo.

Alchimista, esploratore, solo forma sensibile di un atto necessario, primordiale, ma incomprensibile quando scomposto e interpretato da canoni umani.

elettricita',movimento cellulare,dipendenza,

ansia,desiderio Dandy.

ossessionato dalla sensibilita',anche

la vista ha modificato, impacciato.

Alieno,sacerdote di alta casta

ha smarrito la parola,ormai

vetusto mezzo di comunicazione

Dandy per vendetta,sa che la

rivelazione sta per arrivare,

ma non sa contare, cosa inutile,

conosce solo il numero.

Alieno,adora gli umani,

il pensiero e' labirinto

Cosa sarebbe il processo conoscitivo se fosse delegato solo al metafisico? In una simbologia precisa si apre

un universo creativo dove l'uomo, superato nei suoi canoni percettivi, si accinge ad impattare sulla realtà

conosciuta. Ci si ritrova in un sistema completo: si entra nella placenta dove l'essere umano nasce, apprende, si sviluppa.

E' una rivoluzione in cui l'artista rimodella, timbra, combatte, si muove, si mostra, si concede.

In questo territorio grigio, neutro, di mezzo, si arrangiano pericolose relazioni tra corpo e materia.

Le installazioni-residuo, le teche contenenti gli abiti cerimoniali e la documentazione fotografica sono

esposte nel luogo dove si è consumata l'azione, ciascun elemento è connesso e l'uno giustifica l'altro poiché

rappresentano capitoli sequenziali di una possibile complicata narrazione.

Il lavoro si apre con un'azione molto intima e si conclude con quello che tale opera rilascia. Al pubblico vengono rivelati precisi indizi (impronte) che lo porteranno a crearsi una personale e indipendente idea di quello che potrebbe essere accaduto.

Tre sono gli elementi da ricordare:

l'impronta, concetto primordiale, si manifesta in questo caso come il positivo fisico di una forma negativa;

la grafite, blocco pesante, relitto stratificato di materia ancestrale, qui ritorna alla luce: è un'architettura

aliena che sopravvive fuori da ogni catalogazione;

i due protagonisti: un Debuttante e un Esploratore, rispettivi detentori delle due forze d'azione (Impressione e Precisione).

Come in una fitta concatenazione: il corpo protagonista, lo strumento, l'abito, il sigillo come impronta e il

grigio grafite sono processi urlati, dichiarati: essi vogliono attrarre l'attenzione, raccontare un'esistenza,

l'unica esistenza: il divenire artista.

DA is a video made by taking a commercial as a main reference.
It explores the difficult relationship I have with myself and the conflictual connection with my figure.
My video retracts myself in a sequence of slow images, microscopic movements, which gradually generate a
sense of melancholyc existence.The deformation begins an harmonious game of contrast transforming myself in a
charming “freak”.
The space is not defined, it is an anonymous set that immerses myself in a distressing emptiness.

These pictures documented myself during a performance called "Precision Impression 3". During the performance I bit repeatedly into a mouthguard with graphite powder and attempted to take an impression of my teeth. This action alludes to a precise condition.

PRECISION IMPRESSION 4 UNDER CONSTRUCTION. THE SHOES.

I m creating the clothes and the objects to use during the new work called "Precision Impression 4" ( the fourth chapter in the series).
The work will include: performance, wall drawings, objects and clothes. Each of these exhibited in a single installation.
I ll wear: high heel all star, jeans, a white tuxedo jacket, a leather corset, some straps-leashes and a falconry glove.
I ll use two big stamps with graphite powder to make drawings on the wall.

Beginning with bite

This is the first chapter of the series called "Precision Impression". The video, shot in black and white, displays me while taking my dental arch impression, helped by an assistant, using a dental tray and graphite paste.

The video, edited as a loop, has neither a beginning nor an end, on the other hand it lasts in a never ending repetition of the act.
The time perception is amplified and the location is not defined.
A precision dental impression represents then the attempt to leave a clear and rigorous trace of my process; a try to affirm my existence accurately.

Involving myself physically I propose the figure of an artist as a protagonist and

means of greatest artistic expression.

My obsessions, my perversions, my fears are all elements and themes made to

draw a closed world which is in the meantime open to receive stimuli and

external contaminations.

It’s a cosmos, a non-space which sees me protagonist, as a maker and a product

as well.

The language I use looks into different expressive media, but photography and

installation ( meant as the merging of objects, sculptures and drawings ) are the

ones I like best.

My aim isn’t subjecting the spectator to a simple vision of photographs or sculptures,

but plunging him into my world, forcing him to accept a whole sensory experience.

Therefore what I want to express is a concept that goes beyond a mere performance,

I would like to build an inner reality, reproducing it externally, a cosmos where the

artist and his inner conflict are absolute protagonists.

In my opinion an artist is similar to a demiurge, selfobsessed, who creates and

then destroys, who gives life and then undoes it.

My project aims to focus an artistic process, a continuous cycle of creative-productive

skill which starts from a performance, that is supplied with documentary photography

( sometimes with videos ).

Other languages, such as sculpture and drawing are added to the starting performance

which is intended as starting point for following tangible expressions.

The idea is that of creating, by means of an action ( at the beginning represented by

a “bite”), a double ego, the imprint of me, the empty extension of an artist-body

which marks itself and its temporal space-place.

To the audience only an artificial documentation is revealed, depriving them of the

life gesture, showing precise prints that will lead them to form a personal and independent

idea of what might have happened.

The work starts with a particularly intimate action and ends with what such action

releases.

The result being the scatological final waste of such process and is concentrated on

a series of objects and drawings I use during the action and are later changed.

My artistic production is divided this way : photographs or videos, which bear witness

to an incident, objects or clothes ( strictly made to measure, as they portray a precise

mark of me, of my physicality, of my being ), they helped me accomplish an act, as well as

drawings as evidence of a very definite physical passage.

My stage presence-absence, my body, the instrument, the clothes , the costume and then the

mark as a print are screaming, asserted processes; they want to attract attention, tell and

unveil an existence, the only existence of becoming an artist.

This is a cast of my teeth. I used a mix of graphite powder and others substances. The small sculpture is very fragile and it does not resist over the time.
